Once plaque hardens on the teeth and becomes calculus it isn't possible to brush it off and you need a professional clean.
We offer three main dental hygiene appointments
Dental hygiene is not a one size fits all. That is why we offer a range of different appointments to clean all areas of your teeth and gums dependent on your individual needs.

Scale and Polish and Hygiene Advice- £85
This is a 30 minute appointment during which we will use a water scaler to clean all areas of your teeth and gums, removing all plaque and calculus. Following this you will be provided with tailored advice on how to keep your mouth clean in the best possible way.

Air Polish - £127.50
This is a 45 minute appointment which includes a water scale and tailored oral hygiene advice. We then use a state of the art air polisher which is the best treatment available to remove stains on teeth. It sprays fine powder on the teeth to remove surface stains.
If you have had a treatment such as veneers, implants or composite bonding, this is the best way to keep them clean as traditional scalers use metal tips which can scratch and damage them.

Deep Clean - £127.50
For patients with gum disease and bone loss, one of the only ways to stop this progressing and you losing your teeth is with a deep clean. This involves cleaning below the gum-line to remove any plaque and bacteria which is causing the gum disease. Once removed the gum can gradually heal and re-attach to the tooth and become healthy.
