From individual, private waiting rooms and a cup of tea on arrival

To sedation for those requiring a little bit of help to relax. We're here for you.

What is sedation and how will it help me?
Sedation involves the administration of a calming substance (midazolam) directly into your bloodstream. You are awake but completely relaxed.

This is a perfectly harmless solution to an all too common problem, anxiety.

You will likely have no sense of time whilst you are sedated and gradually become more aware of your surroundings and feelings following treatment with a vague, fuzzy positive memory of what happened and your treatment completed.
Frequently asked questions
Am I suitable for sedation?
If you feel nervous in any way about the dentist, sedation may be able to knock down that barrier between you and your oral health.
Will I be awake?
Yes, you'll be completely awake but you'll be so relaxed you probably won't be as aware as normal.
Can I come on my own?
Unfortunately not
When can I resume my normal activities?
Following your sedation you can feel groggy for a few hours and so we recommend you take the day off (well deserved!).
