Some of Majid's Orthodontic Cases

This case involved severe crowding of teeth with multiple teeth out of position creating an unstable bite.

This case involved what's called a 'deep bite' or 'over bite' where the top teeth cover the bottom teeth and is an unstable biting position. Notice how the bottom teeth are in view at the end.

This case involved spaces between the top and bottom teeth being corrected with fixed braces

This case involved the correction of crowded overlapping teeth on the top and bottom arch with fixed braces

This complex case involved what's called an 'open bite' where the front teeth don't touch when biting together. This was corrected with fixed braces.

This is a very complex case involving an open bite at the back of the mouth. Only the front teeth were biting at rest.

What are the benefits?

By choosing our specialist orthodontist, you gain access to a comprehensive range of benefits. Firstly, correcting malocclusions enhances your overall dental health. Misaligned teeth can lead to a variety of problems, including difficulty in cleaning teeth properly, increased risk of gum disease, and excessive wear on tooth surfaces. Orthodontic treatment effectively addresses these issues, reducing the risk of future dental complications.

Additionally, orthodontic tooth movement improves your appearance and boosts your self-confidence. Straighter teeth and a properly aligned bite can transform your smile, leaving you feeling more comfortable and confident.

The Process

The first stage is to book a consultation for a comprehensive orthodontic assessment. During this you will be able to discuss your (or your child's) concerns, the treatment options, timescales and costs for the procedure with our specialist orthodontist.

We will take some x-rays and clinical records to plan your case.

Following this you will be provided with a quote and able to book in for the starting of your journey.

The Aftercare

Once your teeth are aligned in the perfect position we will keep them there with removable and sometimes fixed retainers as well.

We also offer an exclusive aftercare package which offers fresh replacement retainers every year along with check-ups and hygiene visits to make sure your smile stays straight and healthy.

How much does Orthodontic treatment cost?

There is a massive variety in the level of complexity of one case to another. Each case is quoted bespokely depending on the method we will use to align your teeth, the timescales and other considerations. As a rough indication a simple case may cost under £2000 whereas a complex case may cost £4500.

The consultation will enable us to provide you with a complete quote and the consultation cost is completely deducted from treatment.

We do offer 0% and 5 year monthly payment plans to help spread the cost.

  • What are dental implants, and how do they work?
Dental implants are titanium posts that are placed into the jaw, serving as artificial tooth roots to support replacement teeth. They are a durable and long-lasting solution for individuals with missing teeth. Once the implants are placed, they integrate with the surrounding bone through a process called osseointegration, creating a stable and strong foundation for dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, or dentures. Dental implants mimic the function and appearance of natural teeth, providing a secure and natural-looking smile.
  • Do you offer payment plans and 0% Finance?
Yes, we offer 0% finance with a quick and easy application that only does a soft credit check. We also offer a variety of finance options up to 5 years. Alternatively with longer treatment plans we can spread payments throughout treatment without the need for finance.
  • What is the procedure for having a dental implant?
Dental implants are a long lasting treatment, the implant itself often stays in your mouth for the rest of your life if placed correctly. As such the planning stages are vital for long term success. We will ensure your teeth, gums and jaw bone are healthy with a detailed health check and examination, including X-rays and CT scans. Once we are happy we will place the implants. We then allow a period of 3 months for the body to accept the implants (much in a way similar to accepting a knee replacement for example) during which we can supply you with a temporary tooth to ensure you never leave without a tooth. Once we are happy that the body has accepted the implant we will place the crown or bridge on top of the implant and you can eat and smile with confidence!
  • Is it painful?
Dental implant placement is typically performed under local anaesthesia, ensuring that you won't feel pain during the procedure. Most patients report feeling only slight pressure or vibrations during the implant placement process. After the surgery, mild discomfort and swelling are normal and can be managed with over-the-counter pain medications and cold compresses. Our implantologist will provide detailed aftercare instructions to promote proper healing and alleviate any discomfort and our team are on call for any questions you may have.
  • I've been told by my dentist I don't have enough bone for an implant
Don't think that this is the end of the road! Many patients come to us having been told they haven't enough bone for implants. We have incredibly experienced oral surgeons and implantologists on our team who are incredibly experienced with a variety of bone grafts and sinus lifts which can thicken your bone to allow you to have implants.
  • How much do dental implants cost?
Prices vary depending on how many teeth need replacing and whether you need any bone grafting. Consultation charges, X-ray imaging (CT Scans) and simple extractions to be replaced by the implants are deductible from the final price of all of our implant products and our pricing is entirely transparent. We also include small bone grafts in the price, larger ones will be charged as extra but you will be made aware. For a single tooth we offer two quality options which affects the price. Our standard quality is £2299 and our maximum aesthetic quality is £2700 (From £47.87/month over 5 years). The standard quality tooth would be for a tooth where function (eating, talking, maintaining bone) is the primary aim over aesthetics. These are still of good aesthetic quality however do not have the intricate detail of a maximum aesthetic tooth. This would be for a front tooth where we need the tooth to match in with the remaining natural teeth as perfectly as possible. A screwed in place full set of top or bottom teeth is £12,995 with a £2000 discount for both arches at once (£260/month over 5 years) Fixed-removable full arch implant retained denture £6995/arch with a £1000 discount for both arches at once (£145.67/month over 5 years)
  • What are the benefits of dental implants?
Eat the foods you love without fear, whether it be biting an apple or eating a steak Long lasting treatment option, if placed correctly and well cared for they can last for decades Regain your confidence to eat, smile, laugh and socialise without the worry of a missing tooth or loose dentures Prevent giving your face a 'sunken in' appearance by supporting your cheeks and lips Prevent further bone loss in your upper and lower jaw Cost effective when compared with other treatment options and their life span Easy to care for, care for them just like you would your natural teeth These are just some of the benefits, there are many others and they benefit everyone in a different way.
  • What are the benefits of All-on-4 dental implants?
All-on-4 (or 6) dental implants are a specific technique that involves placing four implants strategically in the jawbone to support a full set of upper or lower teeth. The benefits of All-on-4 implants include reduced treatment time and costs compared to placing individual implants for each missing tooth. Additionally, All-on-4 provides a stable foundation for a fixed set of teeth, allowing patients to enjoy a secure bite and natural chewing ability. The procedure is often less invasive, making it an excellent option for individuals with reduced bone density or those seeking a quicker solution for missing teeth.
  • What is the success rate of dental implant procedures?
Dental implant procedures have an impressive success rate. Studies show that dental implants have a success rate of around 95% to 98%. The success of dental implants depends on factors such as proper case selection, adequate bone support, and good oral hygiene practices. Working with a skilled and experienced Implantologist and following post-surgery instructions can significantly contribute to the long-term success of dental implant procedures. Regular dental check-ups and maintaining overall oral health are also crucial for ensuring the longevity of your dental implants. Our Implantologists have placed thousands of implants and their practice is limited almost exclusively to dental implants. This means they place implants all day every working day.
